About Me

Hello, my name is Becky and I run Canine Dynamics Massage Therapy based in Stotfold, Bedfordshire. Since I was a young child I have been fortunate that dogs have always been a big part of my life and I currently have three dogs; Ethel (9-year-old Westie and ‘the Boss’), Frankie and Betsy (4-year-old Labrador sisters).

For a number of years now I have been part of a local flyball team, and the labs and I enjoy training and competing (Ethel enjoys supporting from the sides). It was flyball that initially made me reflect on the importance of good form and function in canine performance. Having been an international athlete and with a background in sports and fitness, I recognised that there were many elements to performing well (including good technique, fitness, rest, diet). Attendance at a national dog show in 2022 introduced me to canine massage therapy and I could immediately see the benefits of massage for active, sporting and working dogs, as well as for dogs with musculoskeletal issues, in terms of injury rehabilitation, mobilisation, and pain management.

As with all Canine Massage Guild therapists, I am fully insured and have trained with the Canine Massage Therapy Centre for two years on the Clinical Canine Massage Practitioner Programme. My approach uses the four disciplines of massage - Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports and the Lenton Method® of myofascial release and I use a combination of gait analysis, palpation and body mapping to provide an individualised treatment plan with the aim of supporting each dog to live their best life possible; whether that be to ease pain and improve general mobility or to maintain or achieve optimum sporting performance.

I offer a mobile service so that dogs can feel safe and relaxed in the comfort of their own homes. Please do not hesitate to get in touch to discuss your dog’s condition or needs as I would love to hear how I can help you and your dog.
